Dorinda began her first internship in 2013. Five years later, she received her license and started training in cognitive behavioral therapy which she finds effective for social anxiety, health anxiety, and other mental health issues.  Dorinda uses results-oriented therapy and passes along effective tools to her clients while building a rapport and connection.  She believes in therapy as an important part of maintaining mental health.As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Dorinda uses cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness with a focus on psycho-education to empower her clients and help them understand what is happening. She integrates mindfulness and compassion exercises in her sessions.In her personal time, Dorinda enjoys writing, reading, and traveling.
